Officially founded in 1838, Beverley is one of Western Australia’s oldest settlements. It was one of the first areas in Western Australia opened for agriculture after a glowing report to Governor Stirling by Ensign Dale.
If you are a nature lover, there are some great walk trails to discover, or take a hike up County Peak for panoramic views of the surrounding region. Spring is a popular time to visit when the wildflowers are in full bloom. Experience the feeling of soaring in a glider and get a birds eye view of the landscape below. Or if you want take a step back in time, visit the Dead Finish Museum to see what life was like for our Beverley pioneers or follow the award winning Vincent Street Heritage Walk.

Wander down Vincent Street and discover murals by well-known artist James Giddy. Can you spot all of his amazing murals? Or visit the artist-in-residence at the Station Gallery.
